Two superb knocks by Kavinda Milan, who made 70 inclusive of 9 boundaries, and Dushan Perera, who recorded an unbeaten 67 runs inclusive of two sixes and seven boundaries, helped Isipatana College Colombo to outplay Ananda College Colombo in an Under-15 Division I cricket tournament match played at Cooray Park yesterday.
Having batted first, Ananda College Colombo posted 254 runs for seven wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Kushil Perera made 41 runs for them while Suchira Paranathala made 59 runs, and was the only half centurian in the Ananda innings.
Chasing 254, Isipatana College reached the target in 46.4 overs for the loss of seven wickets.
