Defending champions Isipathana College crushed St.Josephs college 50-12 in the finals to retain the cup championship of the Zahira 7s for the 3rd consecutive year.
Mekalanka Pramoda (two), Prasad Devinda (two), Murshid Kuthloos (two), Saajid Suhaib (one), Umayanga Sooriyabandara (one) and S Kumara (one) scored the tries with Prasad Devinda and Mekalanka Pramoda converting two tries each.
For the Josephians Pium Prabath (one) and Mayura Sanjeewa (one) scored the tries. Royal College, Colombo bagged the Plate Championship with a 14 points (two goals) to nil over Royal College, Panadura in the final after leading 7-0 at half time.
Ananda College, Colombo won the Bowl Championship by beating Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa by 31 points (three goals, two tries) to 7 (one goal) after leading 17-0 at the breather.
