Isipathana Dominates Thomians

A clinical team effort gave defending Schools League Rugby champions Isipathana College a smashing 62-15 win against S. Thomas’ College in a Cup Segment game of the Singer Schools Under-20 League Championship played at Longdon Place yesterday. The Green Shirts scored from a staggering tally of 10 tries and six conversions while leading the halftime comfortably by 31-3 as the Thomians were given the liberty to cross the line twice added with a conversion and a penalty as their points.

Isipathana Should Have It Easy

The unbeaten Isipathana College should have no difficulty in overcoming the Thomians in their Singer Schools Under 20 match at Longden Place today.
S.Thomas' College are having a season of mixed fortunes as they have lost several matches this season and won three games against Dharmaraja College, St.Anthony's College Kandy and Wesley College which they won 33 to 29 at Havelock Park in their last outing. Isipathana College won their last game by 32 to 22 against Kingswood in Bogambara.

Isipathana Have It Easy

Isipathana registered their fourth consecutive win bye 140 rans against St Peter's College, Bambalapitiya in their under 17 Division one cricket match played at BRC grounds. Isipathana batting first scored a mammoth total of 309 for 5 allocated 50 overs. Ayana Siriwardena made III not out was the highlight of the Isipathana innings. When St Peters batted they were bowled out for 169 in 44.3 overs.
