Zahira Rugby Sevens, a schools invitation tournament organised by Zahira College Colombo Group of ’60s for the third successive year will be held on Sunday, August 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Royal College Sports Complex, Colombo 7.

The Tournament has the blessings of the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association and the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union.
Twelve leading rugby playing schools will participate and a keen contest is expected. Handsome awards are on offer for the winning teams in the Cup, Plate and Bowl Championships and the Most Outstanding Player.
The tournament began in the year 2008 to celebrate 85 years of rugby at Zahira and with the success of the tournament the Old Boys of the Zahira Group of ’60s organised it the second year too. Isipathana College won the Cup Championships in the first two years. Will they be able to repeat it  ????
